"He Who Hesitates Is Lunch"

There is a "humorous", but very serious oriented saying that "He Who Hesitates Is Lunch".  What it boils down to is this.  The longer you wait in a dangerous situation, the worse the situation can become.  This is not always the case, but has occurred in two very news carried entity's.  With Ruby Ridge and Waco is exactly what happened.  Do you honestly believe that if you had done something wrong enough that called for the FBI to get involved, that they would wait outside your home long enough for "weeds to grow"!  Tempers can get worse as time goes by in many situations.  You can not allow an adversary time to think, if you wish to take control in an efficient manner.  A plan of "counter attack" broods within this time of "do nothing".  The problem in America today, is the broadcasting of everything going on in any news rich entity.  With this comes this:  "What will American citizens think if we act efficiently rather than making sure that we "prove" that we have done everything possible to prevent injury".  With both Ruby Ridge and Waco, if law-enforcement hadn't "advertised" their intentions and had instead, gone right through the doors, just like they would have done with most situations, more than likely no lives would have been lost on either side.  The fear of public opinion "killed" those individuals involved, just as sure as there are "little green apples".
