The Antiquated Two-Party System

The two party system that we still have today is as full of flaws as a software beta run.  If one party member was to stand up and say that the grass is green, an opposition party member would say, that it wasn't just green it was something else entirely different.  It appears that their whole work agenda for the day, is to disagree with the party "across the aisle".  They should be working for the country and not their party.  The two party system, should be done away with, the party splitting aisle closed and make them set next to each other.  At the beginning of the no party system, alternate the transition party members as such.  They should alternate party members in each row and have the seating as such that each old Republican had a Democrat to each side, behind and to the front.  The same to be said for each Democrat.  Maybe, just maybe, this would lead to a little more civility.  It easy to yell at some one a block away, but when they are facing you nose to nose, there's a chance that you just might hold back a little.  By doing away with some of the yelling and name calling in Congress, that time could be used in the betterment of the United States.  Just as that would seem to imply, why can not Congress become United, instead of divided, day in and day out.  It's really quite simple, the two party system causes them to act as if they are of two races.  The same as if you had cats on one side of the fence and dogs on the other.  The two party system may have had it's time, but it has come to a point of ridiculous.  An extreme point to this, is the James Traficant story.  He was a Democrat for years and began turning into his own man, an Independent if you so chose to call him, and the Democratic party along with the help from the judicial branch in this country, turned on him with a vengeance. They have, if not trumped up, have from mildly fabricated to dynamically designed charges, that have put him in prison.  No truthful physical proof, just insinuation.  Insinuation is the kiss of death, as you have no way of proving it false.  Insinuation doesn't have to be proven, but innocence does and therefore you will always lose the first round in the legal battle against insinuation.  If Jim Traficant, had been a Republican and he swayed from their party, the same thing might have happened.  The only cause for this is the stupid party pride that the leaders have and they will do anything to protect the party, when what they should be protecting is the United States of America and it's citizens.  There is one Congressman who is constantly finding fault with someone from the other party and he should have been in jail years ago for involuntary manslaughter in the death a woman,  as a result of him driving a car into a small stream.  He got nothing but a little embarrassment.  She died.  Now that is being guilty of something physical, but no charges, just a pooh, poohed investigation, that purposely went around the facts.  Powerful family, big money, guilty as sin, no conviction.  Now you have Jim Traficant, the son of a truck driver.  No physical proof, no big money and as a result of the two party system, he's "guilty" as insinuated.  What was his true "crime"?  He left "the" party!  They said, get him out of here and that's exactly what they did.  Case closed!  Maybe.  Jim may be back and I hope he does.
